Recently I just watched about k-drama which is interesting, it is called ‘Can’t lose’. Why is the title called that? Because the couple’s personality is the kind that doesn’t want to lose. They don’t like to lose face.
It is about a married couple that quarrels about small things in life. The guy is basically a neat freak, he likes his house to clean and sparkly. But the girl doesn’t clean up, so he does all the cleaning in the house. She can’t cook as well, so her husband does all the cooking!
It’s really funny how they swop the duties of the husband and wife, the wife that works hard and the husband that does all the housechores!

Getting married

I have no idea why. I have been hearing this topic a lot. It might be due to the people that I am mixing with, they are woman of marriageable age yet still single and very available. Hey, I am still 20 going on 21 so I am not so worried. But no one has a say over the future, so let’s stay nervous and excited about our future.

At work, I have two colleagues who are single and very available. Jocelyn and Bariah. Jocelyn has a bright and cute personality but she just broke up with her boyfriend. So she is currently on the search to get a new one! But she has told me that after her old boyfriend, she found that her criteria for her next boyfriend is higher! Well, rich is a good point. So guys, please earn lots of money and be a perfect gentlemen and you will be wanted by all women!

Apparently Bariah’s mother gave birth to her when she was 24, such a young age. Bariah is single at the age of 26. But I don’t blame the women of this generation, good guys are far too difficult to find. They are always taken! Damn!

Well, my age is not young too, so I hope in the near future, I will be able to find a good man to marry. I don’t want to be single……. Does anyone?

*listening to the aircon blowing in my dark room – the presence of zen, where I can find relax after a long day…….

Chocolate craze

Work has been piling up non-stop on my table. DAMN. It just means I have to go crazy to stock up on sweets and chocolate to keep myself hyper and complete all the work on my table.

I just found a new favourite! TIM TAM! It’s my current favourite, I cannot live without eating one stick a day!!

In Australia, when I was there for my cousin’s wedding – around early Jan/Feb. My cousin, Jac from canada actually bought quite a bunch to bring back to Canada. The first thought that went through my mind was “She is crazy to bring back chocolates instead of other items.” – I swear she had at least 5 packets of TIM TAM. Her luggage was super packed, but she insisted that she will bring those TIM TAM back to Canada. Now I understand why Jac!

It was pure coincidence, wait. I found this TIM TAM in the fridge. Damn. The temptation was too big that I tried the TIM TAM and got addicted to it. And I just found out that it is an expensive snack. One packet for $4 bucks. Damn. I will be heavily broke by the end of the month.

Saturday, such a bad day to be working.. I woke up with a dream that I was sleeping in my office cubicle! The kind of dream that is in contrast with reality, because when I opened my eyes I realized that I was late for work!! :p

Social media in working environment

Apparently, social media experts says that the social media has helped quite a few people to get their current job. Frankly, do you think this is a good idea. Things that you say on the social media is being considered whether you are suitable for a job posting.

I find this fact intriguing as this would affect employment in the long run. Social presence being considered in your workplace, I believe it is slowly becoming common especially among the youths. Sometimes I see tweets / facebook status updates from working class people. If you think about it, they are using their time during working hours for their personal social presence.

Is that the correct thing to do? However I do like it how the current working class adults take social media to make it important.. But eventually, you need to be careful with everything that you say on the social media.

Does anyone even agree with me that there are pros and cons to this situation? Of course, what are your votes on – social media present in the working environment?
